Home Builders Association, Lake Norman, NCThe Lake Norman Home Builders Association was established on January 2, 1990 to serve the home building industry in the Lake Norman, North Carolina area. Prior to our establishment, this area was served by the Statesville-Mooresville Home Builders Association. Our home builders association supports the many businesses in the home building industry through events, meetings, and education.

Not only do you have several benefits as a member of our home builders association, but you also have the opportunity to serve on a committee or council to become more involved and increase your networking opportunities. Here are some options to consider:

Associates Committee

The mission of the Associates Committee is to bring value to all associate, builder, and affiliate members by providing multiple opportunities to interact and participate collectively and/or one-on-one with all members, to provide support to our builders and arrange functions and events that are appealing to the general membership. To accomplish this mission, the Associates Committee coordinates events that are fun and appealing to the entire membership?and include?spring & fall?golf tournaments.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee oversees the ongoing recruitment and membership support for our association. It is responsible for welcoming and educating new members at New member orientations and general membership meetings. Committee members continually strive to make membership even better. The goal is to make sure our members are getting all the information they need to be successful.

Best of the Lake Committee

The Best of the Lake Committee is responsible for developing, producing and overseeing all aspects of the association’s Best of the Lake Design Competition and Awards Gala. The event celebrates the builders, designers & craftsman who entered new custom homes, whole-house renovations, kitchen & bath renovations, outdoor lighting spaces, and interior design & staging projects for consideration by judges.
